Nambour Apex Club: A Year of Community, Collaboration, and Contribution

The Nambour Apex Club has had an outstanding year, marked by community engagement, collaboration with fellow service groups, and strong fundraising success. Through a calendar filled with major regional events, the club has continued to strengthen its presence and impact across the Sunshine Coast community.

The year began with the Nambour Expo (12–14 April) — a vibrant start that showcased the club’s commitment to community outreach and hands-on involvement. This was followed by the Nambour Show (June 14–16), where members continued their tradition of fostering closer relationships with local residents and supporting key regional initiatives.

In July, the Queensland Garden Expo (4–7 July) provided another highlight, offering an opportunity for the club to expand its visibility and engagement. The new four-day structure was a great success, proving the club’s adaptability and ability to evolve with the community’s needs. Later that month, the Swap Meet (July 26–27) once again drew strong attendance, combining fundraising with fun and fellowship for all involved.

Altogether, the club’s efforts contributed to nearly $100,000 in total earnings — an extraordinary result that benefits not only Apex but also the wider service community. A significant portion of these funds is distributed among 11 other service clubs, based on the hours they contribute supporting Nambour Apex during events. This cooperative model reflects the true spirit of community service — working together to achieve more for the region.

Beyond fundraising and events, the Nambour Apex Club remains deeply committed to helping local schools, supporting the homeless, and addressing community needs wherever they arise. Their ongoing dedication exemplifies the Apex values of service, fellowship, and personal growth.

With another successful year behind them, the Nambour Apex Club continues to demonstrate what can be achieved when community-minded people come together with purpose and passion.
